Chapter 166: A Happy Ending~Part 10
The entire wedding went smoothly and lively. Considering An
Ran's pregnancy, many of the tedious details were omitted. However, the
newlyweds couldn't skip the tea ceremony for the parents and elders of both
families. When Su Yicheng and An Ran knelt before Lin Xiaofen and Gu Hengwen,
both were moved to tears.
The final act was the bride's bouquet toss. Whether it was
fate or coincidence, the bouquet was caught by Su Yijiao, who was standing
behind her. As soon as Su Yijiao caught it, Ye Ziwen knelt on one knee, pulled
a ring from his pocket, and proposed.
Even though she had been deliberately ostracizing Ye Ziwen,
she was still deeply in love with the man she had loved for over twenty years.
And with such a situation as today, how could Su Yijiao refuse? She was so
moved she almost burst into tears as she nodded in agreement.
After all the hardships he had endured, Ye Ziwen finally had
his bride. Overjoyed, he spun around in Su Yijiao's arms, shouting, "I'm
getting married!" He looked nothing like the playboy he had once been, all
about dating without getting married.
The wedding banquet was held in the form of a buffet. Su
Yicheng stayed outside to entertain the guests, while An Ran, due to her
pregnancy, was sent to the lounge to rest. Lin Li stayed with her, chatting
inside.
After changing out of her wedding dress and into her own
loose-fitting clothes, An Ran sat in her room, gazing out the window at the
bustling scene, a smile never faltering.
"That's wonderful," Lin Li said, taking An Ran's
hand and looking earnestly into her face. "Anzi, be happy!"
An Ran shook her hand back and nodded, "You too!"
Lin Li didn't reply, but simply smiled.
An Ran was most worried by her expression. She spoke
anxiously, "Lin Li, you—"
Lin Li didn't give her a chance to continue. She interrupted
her, saying, "Come on, today's your big day. Stop scolding me. Just
promise me you'll be happy in the future, okay?"
"Ah!" An Ran sighed, looking at her. She knew she
was stubborn and deeply hurt, but seeing her like this made her heart ache.
Perhaps fearing An Ran would try to persuade her further,
Lin Li stood up and made an excuse, "I'm going to go out and get something
to eat. I haven't eaten since I got up this early."
An Ran held her hand and simply said, "Lin Li, try
again, okay?" Try to love again, try to trust others.
Lin Li was silent for a long moment. She reached out to
break free from her hand and said, somewhat embarrassedly, "I'm really
hungry." With that, she fled the room.
Su Yicheng had drunk quite a bit today, and while sitting in
the car, he felt a bit restless and slumped against An Ran.
An Ran looked at his distressed, furrowed brow, worried
about his stomach.
Today, they hadn't returned to the studio apartment, but to
their apartment downtown. When getting out of the car, An Ran was worried he'd
lose his balance, so she tried to help him, but he just yanked her sideways
into his arms.
"Oh, put me down! Put me down quickly!" An Ran
exclaimed, patting his shoulder, fearing he'd lose his balance and both of them
would fall.
"Haha." Su Yicheng laughed as he put her down and
then, holding her hand, led them into the building.
When the elevator reached An Ran's floor and An Ran was
about to open the door and enter, Su Yicheng suddenly covered her eyes with his
hand and whispered in her ear, "Wait a moment."
Confused, An Ran asked, "What's wrong?"
"Close your eyes. I'll take you in." Su Yicheng
closed the door, then took her hand and walked towards the master bedroom.
With her eyes closed, An Ran asked with a smile,
"What's going on?"
Su Yicheng smiled faintly, saying nothing. He simply held
her hand and walked carefully with her.
He pushed open the master bedroom door, asked her to stand
in front of the bed, and whispered in her ear, "Okay, open your
eyes."
"What is that?" An Ran smiled as she slowly opened
her eyes. Then, upon seeing the enlarged photo before her, she exclaimed in
surprise, "Oh my God!"
Su Yicheng pulled her into a hug from behind and gently
asked, "Do you like it?"
An Ran nodded repeatedly, speechless with shock. She even
couldn't believe it. "How could it have grown so much?" The photo
hanging on the bed was clearly the one the French couple had taken of them on
the double-decker bus in New York. However, compared to the smaller one, this
one had been enlarged over 20 times, and the pixels hadn't been distorted. And
the photo hanging on the master bedroom bed was the one of them kissing. It was
beautiful, very beautiful.
"Do you like it?" Su Yicheng asked repeatedly, his
tongue brushing lightly across her delicate ear, causing An Ran to shudder.
An Ran nodded, feeling a surge of heat. She broke free from
his embrace and turned to ask, "There's another one. Can you enlarge
it?"
Su Yicheng nodded and took her hand, leading her to the
living room. In the photo hanging on the wall behind the sofa, they were
embracing, their heads pressed together, each with a happy smile on their lips.
This photo was larger than the one in the master bedroom, and the background
seemed to have been manipulated, giving it a hazy, almost beautiful quality.
"So beautiful!" An Ran exclaimed, turning to look
at Su Yicheng and smiling, "Yicheng, I love it so much." She couldn't
help but stand on tiptoe and kiss him on the lips. Just as she was about to
turn away, someone firmly grabbed her waist, preventing her from escaping.
Su Yicheng looked at her, his eyes as deep as obsidian, and
said in a deep voice, "Anran, today is our wedding night!..."
Anran knew what he meant. She felt his hand on her waist
burning like fire. His head gently leaned down, their faces getting closer and
closer. His breath on her cheeks made Anran's entire body heat up. She looked
at him and stammered, "We, we've already been married, haven't we?"
Su Yicheng smiled and lowered his head, kissing her brow. He
said, "But today is our wedding night in the bedroom." With that, he
lifted Anran up and carried her directly to the master bedroom.
As he carefully placed An Ran on the bed, she noticed the
red duvet cover, covered in a heart shaped like flower petals. It was also then
that she realized the lights in the room had been changed, dimming slightly
compared to before. This dim light made the atmosphere even more ambiguous and
seductive.
He reached out to remove her clothes, then leaned over to
admire her whole body. After a moment, he raised his head, met An Ran's hazy
eyes, and whispered seductively in her ear, "Help me take it off." He
then took her hand and placed it on his chest.
An Ran sat up with his help, placing her hand on his chest.
She seemed even more nervous than the first time, her heart pounding so hard
that she felt as if it would burst out of her chest.
Her fingers tugged at the buttons of his shirt, their
movements trembling slightly. Their fingertips brushed against the skin of Su
Yicheng's chest, causing him to groan softly, as if suppressing something.
The more nervous she became, the less agile her hands
became. It took her a full three minutes to finally remove the shirt from Su
Yicheng.
Reaching for the belt again, An Ran looked up at Su Yicheng
anxiously, hesitating to move.
Su Yicheng held her face in his hands, kissing every part of
it profusely. "Good girl, help me take it off."
An Ran then slowly and clumsily began to work, but after
struggling for a full five minutes, she couldn't get the belt untied. She had
never done anything like this before; he was always the one to handle these
problems. But when it came to her hands, she couldn't get it untied.
After such a struggle, An Ran was so anxious she felt like
crying. She looked up at Su Yicheng with a hint of grievance, "I can't
untie it."
"Enough!" Su Yicheng, already enduring the pain
all over his body, reached out and quickly untied the last of his restraints.
He gently laid her down on the bed, then bent down to kiss her red lips.
Just as the room was filled with a sense of voluptuousness,
the doorbell rang without warning, sounding particularly abrupt on such a
night.
Both people in the room were stunned for a moment, then Su
Yicheng reacted and leaned over to continue. Tonight was his wedding night, and
he had no time to care about anyone else.
An Ran pushed him away, using her last bit of sanity to say,
"Someone's ringing the doorbell..."
"Whatever," Su Yicheng said, lowering his head and
kissing her.
"But, ah—!" An Ran tried to say something, but
then she couldn't say anything more.
Just as they were lost in thought, the phone in the other
room suddenly rang again. Su Yicheng couldn't care less and just continued. But
the person on the other end seemed very patient, calling again and again,
showing no sign of giving up.
In a daze, An Ran said with some difficulty, "Answer
it…answer it, ah—um—" An Ran covered her mouth tightly with her hand to
prevent herself from making any strange noises.
Unstopping the movement below, Su Yicheng reached over and
put the phone in the other room on speakerphone. Su Yicheng barely needed to
speak before answering the clamoring phone. Ye Ziwen's voice, a hint of triumph
and gloating, rang out from the other end, shouting, "Open the door!
There's a disturbance in the den!" Behind him, the laughter of several
others could be heard.
Su Yicheng gritted his teeth, suppressing his breath. His
deep voice, almost gnashing with rage, said, "Ye Ziwen, do you believe
I'll make Yijiao go back on her word tomorrow and refuse to marry you?" It
was a threat, a blatant threat!
After that, without caring about his response, he forcefully
ripped the phone from the line.
Ye Ziwen, standing at the door, was so enraged that he
cursed, "Fuck you!" He yelled through the door, "Su Yicheng,
I'll take Xiaojiao to register tomorrow morning!"
